Kelly is a creative consultant & conceptual artist from Oakland California, & Cape Town, South Africa.
She is fascinated by movement, large gestures, color, beauty, taste.
texture, & thinking outside the box.
She got her degree in interior architecture from the University of
Oregon, where her vision of "outside the box" thinking, & breaking
so-called "rules" began to emerge. She feasted on conceptual delights
in her studios, & was completely mesmerized, in this same vein, by her numerous
modern & african dance classes.
She paints, playing with the
abstraction of words and letters, dances, sings, & is hugely interested in
large-scale installation art & photography. She just bought a
surfboard, and has a tasty, new baby.
She's been selling apples for an orchard out of the Sierra Nevada
foothills (in California) for 7 years. She has a serious love for
gorgeous, delectable produce, farmer's markets, edible schoolyards, & the outdoors.
